It's time for the Colour Your World Blog Hop with my Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends from around the world! This month we are celebrating our first anniversary. We have had so much fun sharing our projects using the monthly colour palette and we hope you've enjoyed hopping with us. This is the palette for this month - it's the first day of Spring so the colours today are perfect; don't you think?
My card uses the Basket Bunch Photopolymer Stamp set and matching Basket Builder Framelits Dies. It's not a requirement to use all the colours every time but I try and use as many as I can and this month I managed all five of them! It was easy with the Easter Eggs.
I used the striped Peekaboo Peach patterned paper from the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper pack along with the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon. It's just screams Spring to me! I know a lot of people struggle a bit with this colour but I love it!
I love using bundled product like stamps and framelits because it's so easy to create a fabulous look combining them in a card. Plus when you bundle them together you save 10% on the purchase price!
Did you get a special new outfit (including hat) for Easter service? I always got a nice new dress for church and a basket to collect up our eggs. The eggs in my sample are made with the Basket Builder Framelits Dies and layered together to create the two colours.
There are so many advantages to using our Photopolymer stamps but one of the best is that you can "shape" them into curves or other shapes easily on your acrylic blog. I wanted the sentiment to be the same shape as my circle so I just curved it on the block to match the edge. Isn't that cool?!
