It was my birthday last week and I received some beautiful cards - I love receiving homemade cards. My actual Birthday was pretty awesome...I was at Convention with my sisters and my friends, I got my Founder's Circle Bag and was up on stage that night, I had an awesome dessert PLUS I won the prize patrol that day! Pretty great eh?
Here's my cards...
I love the little butterflies from the Butterfly Embosslit die (which is the #1 Sissix die sold by Stampin' Up!)
From my friend and customer Jill McCulloch. This card is so pretty with many layers.
The main image is from a hostess set from a few years ago - I can't remember the name (big surprise) but the sentiment says "The heart that gives also gathers".
Jill also used two retired background stamps - French Script and Canvas. Background stamps add so much to the look of a card and I love the way Jill used both of them on this card.
This is from my sister, Mo Dickie a demonstrator in Toronto.
This is just a stunning card on many levels...first there's the adorable owl from the new punch - so cute.
Then Mo created this fabulous weave with designer paper and embossed cardstock.
And then she made it into an easel card too!
Here's the card "open" as an easel.
Isn't this gorgeous?
Thanks for the well wishes!
